The Hollywood Glam Waves has been the most highly requested style fore brides & bridesmaids by far! The elegance, shine and timeless look is a staple look for anyone who would enjoy a glamours experience to draw attention your hair— Here are some great examples of how I styled Hollywood waves and what products and tools I used for my client.
.) To prep the hair I use Orbie dry texture spray to add grit and texture to hold the hair in place.
.) After the preparation, I begin sectioning the hair in the direction as desired. I use a tail comb and duckbill clips to section and tuck away to the side. Always organize your hair into the order your would like to create your look!
.) The fun part is curling hair with my favorite go-to 1 inch Hot Tools curling iron. I prefer starting in front of the head working from one side of the head to the other to have placement of the natural fall. I wrap the hair around the iron twisting the hair at the same time to lock in the pattern of the direction. Each section of hair should be curled in the same direction that you started with.
.) Next, I like to tease the crown of the head and near the hair line to sculpt and create body so the hair doesn’t fall flat and so the hair is more prominent in place to elongate the waves! Once you’re finished teasing, smooth out any fly-aways with your tail comb in the areas that has been teased and a touch of hair spray to smooth out the shape.
.) After I’m finished placing my tease I use a pomade/cream to set the waves in place to define the wave pattern. Use hairspray to lock the style and shine spray for a gorgeous sheen glow!
